Want to learn some of the fundamentals of surfing with me? Bali regularly makes it on all the lists as one of the surf capitals of the world. Naturally, I am going to try it. But to be honest, unlike scuba diving, I was terrified going into these lessons. Fear was my biggest challenge. Dealing with the what-ifs and worst-case scenarios in my head and challenging myself to quiet my mind and trust my body was the primary takeaway from this experience for me.
